Data Protection Consultancy :G Richins Consulting are experienced Data Protection Professionals and shall apply their experience, knowledge and skills in the discharge of their duties and during the delivery of this contract. However, it must be noted that we neither offer, nor purport to offer legal advice. 

We will offer our recommendations based on interpretation of legislation, guidance and understanding of various Acts, standards and best practice. If legal advice is required then the services of a qualified legal practitioner, or guidance from the appropriate regulator, such as the Information Commissioners Office, should be sought. G Richins Consulting will ensure that sufficient professional indemnity insurance is in force during the term of the contract. 

All information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

Charges:   Day rates are reflective of Consultants being available between 09.00 – 17.00, this translates into a 8-hour day.  A ½ day translates into 4 hours.

Day Rate   £750

1/2 Day     £ 375

Additional hours may be subject to additional fees. Start and end times may be amended to reflect the clients operating hours with the prior agreement of both parties.

Training Services – Training services offered tailored to the individual needs of the client.  Day rate £550.  Relevant personal liability insurance in place.

Expenses: Work carried away from G Richins Consulting will incur reasonable expenses. These include mileage, train fares and hotel/meal costs. Where confirmation of expenses before they are incurred will be given to the client, on certain projects paid travelling days may be required. Please note that mileage is charged @ 0.45 per mile. 

Payment terms: The agreed monthly hours will be due for payment within 30 days of the invoice.

Cancellations and Amendments: If the client wishes to cancel all or part of the agreed scope of work, the following conditions apply: 

A minimum of 1 month’s notice must be provided in writing.

G Richins Consulting must also provide 1 month’s written notice of termination, without penalty.
